ECOMMERCE MARKETING

Ecommerce web design that helps shoppers buy

A store is judged on the product page and the checkout. Make size, delivery, returns and price obvious, then remove every step that loses the order.

A clear plan. A dedicated partner. Measurable progress.

A PLAN YOU CAN FOLLOW

From first visit to completed purchase.

Choose the platform

Choose Shopify, WooCommerce or BigCommerce around catalogue size and how the range changes. Set a category tree based on how shoppers group products, keeping proof on the product itself and the add to cart visible before templates are designed.

Remove checkout friction

Put price, delivery date, returns, review count and size or fit guidance in the first screen. Remove forced accounts, late shipping surprises and unnecessary checkout fields, then count the screens between cart and confirmation without opening another tab.

Build it in from day one

Keep image heavy collections fast on phones and give every product one readable address. Mark up product facts once so the page, feed and AI answers agree, then measure add to cart and checkout from the first build.

Improve with real data

Review cart abandonment, return rates and repeat orders together. Test the step where the most money leaves the journey, so improvements follow completed, durable purchases and repeat customers rather than the easiest detail to change.

PLATFORM AND SCOPE

A store that works for your catalogue

Most of the stores we work on run on Shopify, WooCommerce or BigCommerce, and the honest answer to “should we move platform?” is usually no. A store is rarely held back by its platform; it is held back by templates built for a demo catalogue, product data kept in three places, and a stack of apps nobody has questioned. This overview sets out what a build actually covers and who owns each part, because that is the conversation worth having before a quote.

Your platform

What that means in practice: Shopify, WooCommerce or BigCommerce. We work inside the one you already run, and we recommend moving only when the platform itself is the constraint. Who owns it: Us, with admin access from your team.

Theme and templates

What that means in practice: Collection, product, cart and checkout templates built around the real depth of your catalogue, not a demo store with twelve products in it. Who owns it: Us.

Payments and checkout

What that means in practice: Your payment provider, and on Shopify a checkout we configure rather than rebuild. We design to what the platform allows and say so when it will not allow something. Who owns it: Your provider sets the limits.

Inventory and product data

What that means in practice: One source for price, stock and specification, syncing into the store instead of being retyped in it. Who owns it: Your inventory system, connected by us.

Apps and integrations

What that means in practice: Every app costs page speed. We keep the ones that earn their place, remove the ones that do not, and measure the difference. Who owns it: Shared: you decide, we measure.

Platform, checkout, inventory and integration constraints determine the scope. Confirm ownership and limitations before pricing the build.

A FEW THINGS YOU MAY BE WONDERING

Good questions. Clear answers.

How do you improve the path from product page to checkout?

By removing the reasons people stop: unclear delivery cost, missing specifications, forced account creation and slow pages. Where shoppers currently drop out gets measured before anything is changed.

Are SEO and AEO included?

Yes. Product and collection content stays crawlable, metadata and structured data describe the catalogue accurately, and templates are built to render fast on a phone connection.

Can you work with our current ecommerce platform?

We work with what you have wherever it is capable of the job. Payment, inventory and shipping integrations are mapped first, and ownership of each is agreed before template work begins.

How do you protect existing product URLs in a redesign?

Every URL earning traffic, links or advertising history is inventoried first. Products that still exist keep their address, and anything that must move is redirected to the closest equivalent and re-checked.
