A PLAN YOU CAN FOLLOW

Know your future shoppers

Separate shoppers ready to order from those comparing products and those newly discovering the range. Plan around the questions each group needs answered, so every post has a defined audience and a useful next step toward the right product.

Make expertise useful

Turn questions about sizing, delivery and product differences into short videos and plain answers. Include the perspective of people who choose and test the range, showing products in use and explaining what customers report after a season.

Review, then publish

Have the product expert check each claim before publication. Keep approved and awaiting posts on one calendar across Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, so the team sees the week ahead and nothing is scheduled before the product details are confirmed.

Follow views into product visits, orders and customers who return. Compare each stage with the next to find where shoppers stop, then use that evidence to choose future questions, featured products and the formats that help people decide.

THREE FORMATS THAT DO THE WORK

Show the product in a useful context

A product photograph on a social feed is competing with everything else on that feed, and it usually loses. What holds attention is the product doing something: being used, being compared, or answering the question the viewer already had. Three formats carry almost all of it, and each one can be produced from assets you already have permission to use rather than from a shoot you have to commission first.

    Demonstration

The product doing the thing it is for, filmed once and cut three ways. It answers the question a photograph cannot: what is this actually like to use?

WHAT WE MEASUREWatch-through and saves, against visits to the product the post showed.

  2. Illustration of a comparison post: two fits side by side with the sizes each one runs toComparisonWide fit7 to 15Standard8 to 13Two shoes, side by sideFit answered before the cart

    Comparison

Two options from your own range, side by side, with the honest reason to pick one. Shoppers are already making this comparison somewhere; better it happens on your post.

WHAT WE MEASUREProduct-page visits from the post, split between the two products compared.

  3. Illustration of a customer question answered on camera, with the same answer on the product pageCustomer question"Is it true to size?"Answered on cameraAlso on the product page

    Customer question

One question from your inbox, answered properly. The questions that keep arriving are the ones blocking purchases, and they are free content research.

WHAT WE MEASUREWhether the same question keeps arriving in the inbox after the post ran.

PLANNED, NOT IMPROVISED

Plan creative around the buying decision

Posting on instinct produces an account that is busy and a store that is not. A calendar fixes the hook, the product, the format and the audience before anything is filmed, so each post tests one idea and the month tells you something. It also fixes the approval step, which is the part that quietly delays everything when it is not written down.

A FEW THINGS YOU MAY BE WONDERING

Good questions. Clear answers.

Which social platforms fit our products?

Products that are visibly better in use do well on TikTok and Instagram; considered purchases usually need comparison content and reviews instead. The format follows how your product gets judged.

Is paid social included?

Organic content and paid campaigns are quoted separately. Organic proves which hooks people respond to, and paid puts money behind the ones already working, which is cheaper than testing with media spend.

How will you measure purchases from social content?

Through tracked links and platform reporting, with the attribution limits stated plainly. Purchases that cannot be tied back to social remain unattributed instead of being assigned to the campaign.

How does stock affect the content calendar?

Directly. There is little point driving demand at a product with two weeks of stock left, so the calendar is planned against availability and the margin you want to protect on discounted lines.
